All clients will receive a welcome email with a standard Reading Agreement and some instructions for sending their manuscript within 24 hours of sending payment.
Please note that reading times can vary depending on how busy we are. If you are working on a deadline, please indicate this in a note to the email below. *Additional charges may apply to meet client deadlines.

Or collaborate with our talented team to get their input in a brainstorming session on plot, structure, character development, world building, genre or style. We’re happy to jam with you, even if we haven’t read the book yet. (Note: we’ll need a synopsis and character sheet so we can follow along and offer helpful suggestions.)

Our team of seasoned writers and editors will review your query letter and synopsis and offer helpful feedback and suggestions to make your submission stand out. Our rate includes two passes; one for our initial feedback and then one look at your revisions.

Copy Editing - When your manuscript feels ready for the next step, a professional copy edit can give you the polish you’re looking for. Whatever level you require, a copy edit ensures correctness, clarity, and consistency. This includes editing for grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage, checking for consistency and continuity of mechanics and facts (e.g. character names, relationships, etc.)

Focuses on language and diction (eliminating jargon, repetition), structure of sentences and paragraphs, establishing consistency of tone, mood and style; guides rhythm, coherence and flow. A stylistic edit can really take your manuscript to the next level.
